Dance
Avalon Public School forms three dance groups comprising a total of 72 students from Years 2 to 6. Interested students are auditioned and selected at the beginning of the school year and rehearse regularly, usually at lunchtimes, during the year. Students from these groups represent the school at the Sydney North Dance Festival and NSW Schools Spectacular. Members of the dance groups have the opportunity to audition for regional dance ensembles. The Avalon School Dance group is supported by an energetic parent sub-committee of the P&C.
