School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Book Parade

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Barrenjoey High School Science Symposium

The 2025 symposium, themed "Decoding the Universe," involved our students presenting their research to the Avalon Beach community of high school and primary school students, as well as families and teachers. The event included talks on climate change, quantum technologies, and STEM, with participants from local partner schools including Bilgola Plateau Public and Pittwater High.
