Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At Avalon Public School, we are committed to challenging minds and building character in every student. Our dedicated staff foster a learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and respect thrive, and where every child is supported to achieve their personal best. Beyond literacy and numeracy, students engage in a rich variety of programs including music, arts, sport, leadership, and technology, providing opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. We value strong relationships between students, staff, and families, working together to create a welcoming and inclusive community.

Our goal is to prepare students for a rapidly changing world, equipping them to be critical thinkers, effective communicators, and resilient, creative individuals. We take pride in our school’s tradition and culture, and we strive to enhance every child’s learning journey through high-quality teaching, collaborative professional learning, and meaningful extracurricular experiences. We look forward to partnering with you and your child at Avalon Public School.
